This spacious 3 bedroom home was the desert getaway for the heiress to the Lysol fortune. Views are 360 degrees and sunsets are spectacular Mt. Hopkins and Wrightson soar in the distance. Hiking routes abound; one right from the house. Lake Patagonia is nearby for nature walks and swimming. The town of Patagonia is 7 miles away and offers a health food store, restaurants, a bookstore and world class bird watching. Summer discounts for one week two weeks and a month are available. The rooms are all big, each with spectacular views. A sound system, DVD player and flat screen TV provide entertainment options. A piano too if you're so inclined. Fireplace inside and out. An enormous kitchen and preparation space for big meals and wide smiles.

We loved our stay here at Stuart’s home outside Patagonia so much we extended it by a week. It had the feeling of staying at a good friends house - so comfortable and easy. Stuart was an extremely responsive host. The kitchen was the best equipped and stocked I’ve experienced at any Airbnb. The views in all directions were stunning. The extensive collection of local guides, maps, brochures was so helpful as we explored the surrounding area. Patagonia is gorgeous and a lot of fun. We hiked, and biked, and visited all sorts of remote locations. We hope to return next time we can get to Arizona.

Wonderful place to stay with a great view of the surrounding mountains. This was for a work trip and the house was the perfect place to recharge after long days. Would absolutely stay here again.

Only seven miles from this wondrous offering is the town of Patagonia with bike routes, bird watching, hiking, restaurants and galleries. Golf is nearby and Tucson airport is one hour and twenty minutes. For private pilots, Nogales International airport is ten minutes away. Nearby is Elgin, Arizona, center of wine country. Legendary Tombstone is also nearby along with many sites relevant to native Americans including the Cochise Stronghold in the Dragoon mountains. Mexico with some fine restaurants is 18 miles away.
