The pictures really do not do this property justice. This accommodation has endless character, and was the perfect spot for our family (2 kids, 4 adults) to visit the Normandy area. Bayeux was so incredibly charming and this accommodation was very convenient walking distance to everything the town has to offer. The views of the cathedral out of so many of the windows was really special, and we also really appreciated all the reference materials available to help us plan out our activities. If staying on a Saturday I would highly recommend a visit to the expansive market on the Place Saint Patrice and bringing things back to the unit for a nice meal at home. I wish that the weather had been nicer to better enjoy the beautiful private patio area. This accommodation was really top notch and I would definitely try to stay here again if returning to the area. Our whole family wanted to move in!
No question that the location is absolutely fabulous. Just a block from the church and all of the shops/restaurants in Bayeux. Plus an easy drive to the Normandy beaches which we came to see. The town of Bayeux is great and this VRBO is also great. It is an old building, but the renovation is super. Very clean and plenty of space for the 7 people we had travelling. We were able to sit outside for drinks one evening on the patio and it was delightful. The view of the church towers made it even better. If we ever make it back to Bayeux this is where we will stay without a doubt. Getting in the door was a bit strange. We retrieved the key without a problem, but there are actually 2 doors with the same address. We went to the door that had a sign on it saying "Baya House" (which was to the right of the garage door). But the key did not fit the door! Then we realized there was another door to the left of the garage with no sign that was the actual entrance. Hope this helps you.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It’s in the BEST location and the host was very responsive. Would FOR SURE recommend this to anyone!
