Peaceful and safe. I stayed with my dog and David was a wonderful host, he even had dog treats! I would stay again.

David was the nicest host we have ever had on Airbnb. we've stayed in lots of places and no host has been as kind and accommodating as David. He made us feel at home and it felt more like we were staying with a friend. His place is beautiful and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay with David again if we are in the area.

I have been a large number of Airbnbs and without a doubt staying with David was the best experience I have ever had. David is a perfect host and he is a great person to chat to about all matter of issues; especially locally. He was extremely amenable and helpfully even offering to pick me up from the local train station and indeed dropped me off in the nearby village and even dropping me off at a further away train station which saved me a lot of time. Which was very much appreciated. He made me breakfast and provided food when I arrived and was nothing short of perfect. I could not recommend him too highly and this is how you'd like all hosts to be when you book an Airbnb - a consummate host and a great person. Really felt at home my regret is only staying one night..hopefully I'll be back again.

I've been to many Airbnbs around the world, and David's was the friendliest and most peaceful. He's an excellent host, very kind and interesting, and his suggestions for where to eat in Scarva and the towpath walk were perfect. The towpath walk is along one of the oldest canals in this part of the world and quite idyllic to a city dweller, as well as being a pilgrim route; you can walk to Portadown in one direction and Newry in the other. You're right in the middle of the countryside at David's place, but it's easy to get a train into Belfast to see the sights there, as well as to other places along the line, all the way down to Dublin. The house itself is new and large, with a North American-style main room with huge windows and lots of natural light. There is underfloor heating in the very cosy en suite bedroom and very comfortable sofas and chairs in the living room, and the kitchen is very user-friendly. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in a lovely part of the country.
