My husband and son stayed there to go ice fishing and they loved the place. So much that we are now planning a trip during the warmer months with a group to hopefully do some off road riding. Can’t wait to stay there!!

What an excellent place. I probably shouldn't talk too highly of the place as it may make it harder for us to return if they get booked up solid. LOL What a great experience staying here. From the owner to his son, to his caretaker, they all went out of their way to make our stay one of the best we have ever had in Maine. The location is perfect for snowmobiling. The trail runs right by the place, gas is only 1 block away, and the local stores have anything you would need. The kitchen layout works perfectly. There is a nice large sitting/TV room. It made it easy for our large group to watch the Super Bowl together. There is plenty of room so you are not on top of 1 another. The upstairs bedrooms are laid out perfectly. Plenty of hot water for dish washing and showers. Part of our group rented the adjoining apartment. The connected doors made it very easy for us to gather together. There was plenty of room for us to park our snowmobile trailers right at the house. But there is adjoining land if needed for more parking. I just can't say enough great things about this rental .

Alan and Gloria were fabulous hosts, and went out of their way to accommodate the needs of our group. The spaces worked very well for us - and we loved having such a great kitchen with plenty of dishes for a large group! We'll certainly stay with them on future trips to the Fort Kent / Eagle Lake area.

The interior is beautifully updated and very clean. We stayed with six adults and had more than enough room. The first floor had a large kitchen, eating area, living room, full bath and bedroom with two single beds. Second floor had a bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath, and an exercise room with treadmill, elliptical and some weights. The third floor had a full bath with two bedrooms (queen and two twins). Eagle lake is across the street and there are local convenience stores at the end of the road. Alan was there to greet us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed.

This location was perfect and the description was exactly spot on. We felt right at home the moment we stepped inside. There was plenty of room for us to relax together and space to go off alone if we decided to do that. The kitchen is awesome. There was everything we needed to prepare our meals and the items were of high quality, We would stay here again for sure! We have told our friends about this location already.
