This was one of the best accommodations I have ever lived in, definitely had the best view ever. The house was very cozy and clean. The host has been very friendly and helpful, I am beyond grateful for everything and I hope I'll get to stay at this beautiful house one more time :)

the pictures are not very good. The house was cozy and I had some very great months in there, waking up with this great view. From what I saw around here, it's the best Airbnb stay in Chalong. Jeff and Sala are very friendly and fast in helping out. Hope can come back soon.

Jeff and Sala are wonderful hosts! I spent a month here in Jan/February of 2020, half of which as a solo traveler. I booked this place unsure of the location as I had never visited Thailand before but my nerves were quickly allayed shortly after arriving. The home sits on the water in Chalong Bay, which is the major hub for all marine activities in southern Phuket. The house is a short, safe walk to the Chalong Pier-which is the major port of departure for any dive or boating charter you may take. There is also a taxi port there where you can book a taxi to anywhere in Phuket. (Pro tip: if your just trying to travel locally-Karon/Kata/Rawai/Nai Harn/Patong/Phuket Town-use the Blue Bus! Its used by locals and it is 40 baht to anywhere you need to go. The bus to Phuket Town (and on to Patong) is located at the Chalong Pier, you can't miss it. The Blue Bus to the other destinations can be found and then flagged down just up the road at the Chalong traffic circle.) There are many good restaurants within walking distance of the home and the area is full of locals who are very accustomed to dealing with tourists. As far as the home is concerned it was apparent that Jeff and Sala were invested in a comfortable stay as there were multiple brand new AC units in the home as well as new comforter, sheets and towels. The home was very clean. All the appliances and electronics were in working order. The woodwork in the home was beautifully designed and complemented by tasteful furniture. There is no kitchen, though I found it unnecessary to cook as food was so cheap. The surrounding neighborhood has a very "local" feel and is a good mix of expats and Thai. The home adjacent is the Phuket Cruising Yacht Club run by a loquacious and very helpful Australian man and his family. The club doubles as a restaurant/bar which attracts a sizable crowd on Taco Tuesdays and off days throughout the week. If your intent on solitude, the live music and noise at times can be a problem but typically does not spoil the peaceful atmosphere for very long. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable experience and even though I spent the majority of my time on the beaches of Kata and Karon-which required the daily expense of travel by tuk-tuk or Blue Bus-I am grateful I stayed here and not at a place near those beaches as they are glutted with tourists. This place was much more peaceful and authentic. Can't go wrong with a stay here :)

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The beach house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The location was ideal for us in that Chalong Bay has plenty of places to eat/drink, the sunrises are breathtaking, you can get to westcoast or southern beaches short ride on scooter (if your brave) or taxi/tuk tuk. The house was spacious and just as pictured! The porch and balcony were our favorites! Theres a lil local beach bar next door that isn't noisy and you can rent scooters there for cheap. Our host Jeff was more than accommodating and very helpful with our arrival and checkin and making sure we had what we needed. The beach house is the perfect getaway location, allowing you a relaxing stay yet in close enough proximity to the madness of patong/phuket town if you want it. We chose to mostly stay Chalong area and explore the southern beaches during day (highly recommend Naiharn beach) . You will love the beach house and all its character!! Wake up and catch the sunrises, they are more than worth it!!
