Welcome to the Coffee Zone! / Bienvenidos al Eje Cafetero! I'm originally from Canada and I am fluent in English and Spanish with conversational Portuguese. I'm an AirBnB SuperHost and I've travelled from the Arctic Circle to the tip of South America to Haiti, and everywhere in between. I consider myself to be positive, friendly, punctual and love meeting new people. The Coffee Zone, Coffee Triangle or el Eje Cafetero comprises the Colombian cities of Armenia, Manizales and Pereira and the surrounding villages. After years of research and wanderlust I can personally attest that this is by far the best part of Colombia and Latin America as a whole. You will be amazed at every turn! I've been hosting in Latin America on various platforms for over 14 years and have had all 4 to 5 Star Reviews on my accounts in the past. If you wish; I will take the time to show you around the area and as an "insider" I can present you with various unique activities, take you to undiscovered spots and introduce you to interesting people in order to get you accustomed to the local culture, food, music and people. I can show you the real, authentic and less publicized side of Colombia that I have come to love over the last two decades. I can arrange for a rental car or for your transfer from the airport (PEI, AXM, CLO, etc.) in a new, full-sized SUV or air-conditioned van so you will feel more comfortable and secure upon your arrival in the Coffee Zone. I have options that can accommodate your entire group and your luggage as well. Over the years, hosting has provided me with hundreds of interesting and life-changing experiences. I've had many meaningful interactions with wonderful people from all over the world. I take the responsibility of hosting very seriously because not only is it truly an honor and a privilege; it's a way of life. Whether you are traveling by yourself, with your significant other, in a large family group, here on business, have a medical appointment or looking to purchase real estate; you can count on me as your local contact on-the-ground and an ally who has your best interests in mind.
