Edie's place was beautifully situated surrounded by nature and a quick drive to town. The place was well-appointed and comfortably furnished with lovely paintings. The beds were very comfortable! The welcome bottle of wine was a very kind bonus. We would definitely visit Edie's place next time in the area!

Highly recommend Edie's place! It's the perfect quiet nature getaway with easy access to metro north, hiking, Beacon, and Storm King. The house overlooks a beautiful pond/lake. The house itself is quiet, spacious, and and perfect for hanging out and cooking. Edie was a very accommodating and responsive host.

Our family of four (Husband and Wife and two kids (daughter - 15, Son - 11)) stars at Edie’s place for a weekend in early April to get out of the city. Edie’s home was very spacious and quiet with plenty of room. Falling asleep to the nighttime sounds from the pond was very relaxing. Home is quick proximity to both Cold Spring and Beacon. Lots of good food options in Beacon with decent, although fewer options, in Cold Spring. Edie’s recommendations were great. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Edie was a great and responsive host. Highly recommend this property. Location is ideal--close to hikes, farm stands, and the like. The front of the house looks onto a seldom used road and then just behind it, a large lake full with water birds and sunsets on view. Place is quiet, spacious, and clean. Thoughtful touches like a well-stocked kitchen and games. While the property has a bunch of land behind it, it is not really accessible for hiking/walking. Good thing that the region's best hikes are a few minutes drive away. Thanks, Edie!
