Metrotown is definitely the best and most convenient place to stay if you're in Burnaby. The unit also is very clean, underground parking quite convenient and free access to the community fitness center a fantastic perk. What another reviewer said about the curtains was correct though, they do nothing against the morning light just spills in. The hosts honestly weren't particularly responsive and didn't address a couple minor issues, but the unit, the accompanying facilities and the location make it a great booking.

While the place matched all descriptions, the blinds were too thin and let light through - the skytrain's proximity also led to noisiness. Furthermore, upon meeting the 'colleague' Tom uses to let people in, my wife and I were led around to the parking lot, then the swimming pool and then the front door, where upon we were told to not let others know of our being AirBnB guests, but 'friends' of Tom's. This, quite frankly, was quite an uncomfortable start for what was meant to be a stress-free vacation for my wife and I in a space where we wanted to have no troubles. Beyond that, the AirBnB was as described, but I wish the curtains were thicker, and that it didn't have to feel like we were 'smuggled' in, instead of being easily and openly welcomed, which really put a dampener on our stay.
