Wonderful setting! The hosts were very helpful in taking us to a supermarket and in booking taxis for us. It would be a good idea to have a car as the trains are very unreliable. The swimming pool was brilliant, with stunning views. The animals were great fun, especially the donkey!

The holiday was fantastic in every way possible. We were a party of 7 that booked the loft and the cottage. We arrived after 10pm on the first day and even though it was late Alessandra met us and made us feel very welcome. She was an excellent host and responded to all my questions prior to the visit. The loft and the cottage were lovely spaces with an eclectic taste in furniture. The views from the loft were fantastic. The star of the show was the swimming pool which perfect for my 3 daughters who could have spent all day in the there. Set amongst olive trees you really feel that you are living an authentic Italian lifestyle. The pool was shared with other guests and Alessandra’s family but this is not an issue at all as the pool is spacious and the family are lovely and not intrusive in the slightest. A special mention must go to the young host (Alessandra’s daughter) who entertained and played with my daughters throughout the holiday and who was always on hand to translate from Italian to English and vice verse. We spent 7 nights at the house but for 3 of the days we went into central Rome by catching the train which is literally 8 minutes walk with young children.The trains are timely and clean and take you into Roma Termini in 24 minutes. From there we walked to all the major sites. The animals that stay on the land surrounding the house add character to the holiday and they are all friendly and passive. You my hear them barking and/or braying early in the morning but this all adds to the authentic experience of staying in a area like this. We also visited the restaurant which is literally next door to the house. The food is authentic Italian with pasta, pizza, fish and meat. The prices are much lower than in central Rome and is very family friendly. We all loved the holiday and will be planning to go back again. If you want to holiday in Rome but also have a real opportunity to relax and unwind then I would not hesitate to book this house.

Location is perfect; the host is very quick to respond and stays on premises and willing to help whenever needed during our stay. I would not hesitate to book again when I’m in Rome.

We had a great week, were made very welcome and spent a lot of time in the pool! Also, it was good to be able to take the local train into Rome.
