So it was a little hard to find to start with, but when we got there, the staff were amazing, felt right at home, so helpful. The location was perfect.  We were in sunrise Villa, which, as the name goes has beautiful sunrises and you get the seabreeze to take the heat out of the day. I would recommend these villas to everyone !

Eine Traumwohnung direkt am Meer - Wind und Meeresrauschen rund um die Uhr. Großzügige Wohnung, gute durchlüftbar, dadurch war keine Klimaanlage nötig :-) Tolle Terasse mit wunderbarem Blick - Sonnenaufgang inklusive. Toller grosser Garten, in Laufnähe eine tolle Surferbar mit gutem Essen, Drinks und Life-Musik.

Wolfgang Lange’s Inchcape Villas and especially House Sunrise are beautifully located on this part of the coast, which was made famous in the 70s and 80s by windsurf pioneers Wolfgang and Rosi Lange and Beach Culture legend Brian Talma. As long as you are aware that you will live with the elements and nature (the easterly wind blows through your living room 24/7 and with it, the birds move in-and-out as they please: we LOVED this being in touch with nature!) and that you have to be very safety/security conscious in view of petty thefts from trespassers, Wolfgang’s “House Sunrise” is the place to spend an unforgettable vacation with spectacular views and the continuous roar of the ocean. Hang out, chill out, pure joy. House Sunrise is exactly that: you wake up with the sun, live in synch with the elements, watch the turtles in the surf, and enjoy the functional comfort and thoughtful design of your own villa. It’s not overstuffed with things. You have everything you need. It’s super clean, and very comfortable. We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed 2 weeks and didn’t use a car for the 1st week. Mini buses run reliably every couple of minutes (from St Christopher’s church, 3 mins walk): hop on, watch the scenery pass by, meet people, enjoy reggae. The property borders on a deserted hotel ruin. So there are very few people around, other than the locals, who fish literally from just outside your garden. Other than that, and except for the turtles, we had the bay for ourselves pretty much all the time. You find very basic groceries (sufficient for your arrival day) within 10 mins walk; for a broader selection, hop on the bus to Oistins (15 mins door-to-door). Next bay to the east, Silver Rock Beach (5 minute walk), you find surf legend and Waterman Brian DeActionB Talma with his DeAction surf school, shop, and rental. It’s a must visit place for surfing, watersports, Brian’s world famous smiles and inspiring outlook on the world, as well as his artwork. Always friendly, always helpful & straight, always reliable & on time. If you are interested in the history of the southern coast and culture, the evolution of watersports, and deAction Man’s amazing life journey, buy his book! If you are as lucky as we were, they may have prepared and serve catch of the day at his grill&bar. Don’t expect chic and posh: it’s real, honest, no bullcrap. It’s great! In the next bay to the west (2 minutes walk on the shoreline), there’s a bamboo bar offering food and drinks. It was a perfect first stop for our first dinner on arrival day. We are happy that we found this beautiful spot and wouldn’t hesitate to return anytime.
