My favorite stay during my 2 week trip to Iceland. Great bang for the buck and Elmar was the friendliest host of my trip. Will stay again next time I'm in Iceland!

Roligt og fint sted med god beliggenhed. I gåafstand til byen og tæt på svømmehal der er er besøg værd. Elmar er venlig og imødekommende og har svaret hurtigt på alle vores spørgsmål og hjalp også da vi havde brug for det. Meget rart og roligt sted. Christina Danmark

Elmar was a great host and the rental was great. East parking and close to down town.

This is a great little place which has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It is in a cute traditional neighborhood with pretty gardens and friendly cats. a short distance to an established swimming pool, and a longer walk (but easily doable) to the center of town, and close to the ocean. The hosts live next door and are friendly. I did not need help since everything is well organized and instructions are in the unit, but I know help would have been available. Adding to the comfort, one's car can be parked right in front of the unit.

Elmar is a great host. Communication has been fantastic as he always responded quickly to messages. Although it is a self-check in, he came by to introduce himself personally and to offer any help in case needed. In my mind that is a really nice gesture to make your guests even more welcome. Also the apartment is very nice, comfortable and clean and also basic food staff for cooking (like salt, oil, etc) is provided. The surroundings are also very nice and it is located in a calm area but still absolutely within walking distance to the city center or public transportation is also closeby. I also appreciated it a lot that he would have let me stay also after check-out as no other guests were arriving on my check-out date. I would definitely choose to stay here again and can absolutely recommend Elmar‘s place.
