The layout of the house is clever: the social areas are neatly connected to each other while the sleeping areas are tucked away privately. While the immediate surrounding is a bit lack-luster (deforestation and shrubs), the view of the valley is fantastic, and the garden is lush and beautiful (watch out for the sprinklers in the evening!). The nearest beach is not 100 m away ("3 minutes") as advertised but 1 000 m, this could be an unwelcome surprise for families with kids and/or elderly people. Besides this, the hosts we're great - proactive, flexible, and welcoming.

We had a wonderful surfing trip here. You can see the waves from the veranda and the beach is easy walking distance, the surf was amazing, and the sea was never crowded. The house provided a wonderful home for us to return to, a beautiful kitchen to cook in and a comfy living room to relax in. The beds where luxurious and the nights were silent. A fantastic trip, would very much recommend this house.
