I stayed at James place over Christmas for a couple of days while I was visiting family. The place was as pictured and was fairly clean apart from a small amount of dirt on the floor and the plates in the cupboard were pretty dirty. Before I checked in the host hadn’t sent me any messages about the check in process so I had to chase that. When checking in the key was not located in the correct box but James responded quite quickly to get it sorted. The place was free of clutter etc but we had an issue with the heating as there were no instructions and it was complicated to use. The toilet also was a little blocked when we arrived and got worse the next day. I messaged James and although he did respond and say he would send someone out, he then didn’t message back after this. Lucking a family member helped us out and we fixed it but it would have been nice to have more communication from the host.
