Amazing value for money. The place is old but suited to beautiful vineyard and hill surrounding, and we loved the brick and timber feel. Clean and comfortable, loved the thoughtful snacks put out for us. Highlight was the in-room vineyard wine cabinet that you could easily buy from; we got two bottles for free?! And they were sensational! Better than 99% of all the wines we have tasted in the Barossa, Hunter Valley and Murrumbateman (the 1% was a multiple award winning one). Great location, quick drive to all points of interest in the valley. Free laundry and a large collection of DVDs to borrow. TV signal a bit glitchy but understandable for area. Would most definitely stay again!!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Blickinstal. The accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped for basic cooking, which was convenient. The peaceful location amidst nature was a plus, and the proximity to Barossa Valley's attractions made exploring easy. The communication with the host was good and the instructions super clear. Overall, good value for a relaxing retreat in the region. I would consider staying again for a similar trip!

A very functional and simple studio that was very well located amongst the vines. Quiet, rural, beautiful and a good base for exploring the Barossa. Beware that every approach is an unsealed dirt road except from Bethany.
