We think you will find our historic hotel charming with authentic period furniture and cozy rooms with modern amenities. Modern amenities include central air and heating, WIFI, flat screen TVs and private bathrooms. Be sure to make a reservation with the front desk to relax in our new Sauna Room located on the 2nd floor. We’re located near local businesses including a quaint coffee shop just behind the hotel, multiple restaurants and shops all located near the Mississippi River and there is a rental shop nearby if you are interested in riding tandem or on a tricycle. At the Historic Anderson House Hotel you will feel quite cozy in our Full sized suite. Each room has its own design dating back to the Victorian era with original furniture, the quirkiness of the original structures and décor.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s private and has history, I’d stay here! But if you’re looking for a place that’s quiet, peaceful, and free of noise i wouldn’t stay here. The blinds are a white linen so the room that i stayed in, the window was facing a building that had lights on all night. The blinds don’t do any coverage and anyone can look on- thankfully there was a private bathroom! It’s also pretty pricey compared to other places I’ve stayed with more utilities!

Very clean. Good quick communication when we lost our check in code. Bed very uncomfortable and floor has an extreme downhill slant. Our heads faced downhill. People could see into our room and the neighbors lights shine directly into it all night. There were no real shades on the window
