Grace's kind family is welcoming and kind. Check in was easy. The door was standing open and it was easy to get in. I felt the shared bathroom and kitchen left a lot to be desired. No toilet paper. The bathroom wall is discolored and unrenovated. The room is on the back of the house, but the cars driving by kept me awake most of the night. I thought for over the price I would be receiving nicer digs.

Grace did not respond to any of my messages before arrival, and did not inform her parents that a guest was coming. Though her instructions were clear, the door was locked and I waited an hour in the rain. Once inside, the room was not prepped. I helped her father make the bed, and as I did, stink bugs/beetles were on the sheets as well as the wall and room heater. Grace’s room did not at all match the description or images. None of the things in the room image were present other than the bed. I went into the bathroom and there was mold and dry rot stains on the wall. The bathroom had an unexpected guest who was washing things in the sink and mentioned she could not communicate with her parents as they did not speak English. I experienced the same. While her parents were kind, the house did not feel healthy or welcoming. I did not stay. I could not find a hotel room in 20 miles that late, so I ended up sleeping in my car and battling she and AirBNB for a refund. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is a value based stay. Personally I would not recommend this for more than a very short term stay. The hosts are very pleasant and the refreshment station was nice. Aesthetically, the place is somewhat drab. The parking area is small for the amount of units and it can be hard to find a place to park at times. The shared bathroom shower does not have a nonslip mat and can be very slippery. Incense is burned here as well so bear that in mind if you’re sensitive to that. The area is however v quiet, nobody bothered me during my stay and the hosts were nothing but pleasant and courteous. Overall I would say this is good bang for your buck at about half the price or less of most other stays in the area but the accommodation itself is just ok

Friendly host and nice, clean room upstairs. Clear check-in instructions given, strong Wi-Fi signal. Kitchen is stocked with tea and coffee, and you can store food in the large refrigerator. Large full bathroom next to the room. Flawless stay!
