I had a lovely stay at the Amina Boutique Hotel. The hotel felt like my home away from home while visiting Cape Town. The hotel is easy to find, and check-in was a breeze. Even though the hotel is so close to the city centre (and in one of the most iconic parts of town), I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxing and tranquil atmosphere as I stepped into the beautiful front garden. My room was gorgeous (each one of the rooms in the hotel is unique in terms of style, decor and colour)! It was neat, clean and beautifully designed. It felt like every piece of furniture was carefully curated for the room, making my stay special and memorable. The room was equipped with soft towels, shampoo, body wash, and lotion. Other amenities included free Wifi, a TV, a hair dryer, a mini fridge, and a tea/coffee station. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. In the mornings, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast (served with the most delicious, homemade banana bread I've ever tasted!). I travelled by car and could park my car for free in the street right in front of the hotel, which was perfect for carrying luggage to my room. I'd highly recommend Amina Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for beautiful, unique, and memorable stay within walking distance of Cape Town's city centre.
Wow, what a beautiful way to experience Cape Town! Outstanding views from my window, very clean, the staff was great, loved the little breakfast that was included. The place has so much character (very picturesque), as well as the area. I had some hesitation at first staying in this area (based on my research) but I was pleasantly surprised - I felt very safe and the security was more than enough. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks!
You are in the ever-so-charming, blogger-loved, often posted about on social media, colourful and lovely Bo-Kaap - the oldest surviving residential neighborhood in Cape Town. In fact, Bo-Kaap's origins date back to the 1760s, and are rooted in Malaysian, African, Indian and Sri Lankan culture.
You are right in the middle of history!
Formerly known as the Malay Quarter, Bo-Kaap is situated at the foot of Signal Hill and is recognized by its distinctive pastel coloured houses and cobbled streets. Its location is amazing, being right on the fringe of the city centre while being footsteps away from trendy coffee shops, breakfast spots, and the heart of the city. Many argue that this district is actually the most central and up-and-coming in Cape Town.
You will be sure to enjoy the rich and multicultural history, close community, and friendly neighbors, which visitors often find fascinating and unforgettable. We can’t wait for you to experience it!
There is plenty of street parking, we just ask you do not leave any possessions in your car, and an Uber is always a minute or two away.
自我介绍
I'm an entrepreneur who co-founded a couple of well-loved festival brands here in South Africa, and I have a finance company as well as a business coaching company where we help other achieve their own prosperity. I was born in Cape Town, Israeli family (Hebrew is my first language), and I grew up in the USA! I'm kind of a mix of cultures and I love travelling and seeing how people live and think in different parts of the world. I'm a very easy host, and guest, and love unique spaces with a welcoming, clean, alive atmosphere! There are always interesting events happening around the city and endless food options and activities! Let me know if you need any recommendations on what to see, do and eat in Cape Town!
