Bought in 2007, despite not being composed of a single room without roof and doors, because owners, also fascinated by the pleasant beauty of the small village, they fell in love and decided to make it a private vacation home. Totally designed and renovated by hand over the years only by the owner, who dealing with conservative restauration, and noting the potential of the place, strongly decides to keep alive the particularities and the historicity of the house. Therefore, the entrance staircase, the arches, the internal walls and even the exterior facade, remain intact or restored without altering their original structure. The stairs that lead to the bedrooms, have also been designed, worked and laid by the owner, with chestnut wood aged and seasoned. The furnitures, the carpets and each single piece in the house have been selected in the several Sicilian antique stores, in the antique little markets or are property of the owners for generations. The canvases and the paintings were designed and realized by the owners. The original kitchen has been created and adapted to the current space with new but dated furniture, present in historical exhibitions of a small furniture factory now closed, as well as wall lights and vintage lamps. Everything has been carefully researched, one piece at a time, until the puzzle is complete. All this without forgetting the comfort and the right amount of lighting: just turn on or off some light points to support the desired mood. It was only in 2020, after an overnight stay of friends in the home, who enthusiastically asked to rent it for the Vacations, that the owners decided to make the property available to the public, which up to that moment only functioned occasionally in the "Home Restaurant" version.
