The village of Sahorre has a bistro, charcuterie, epicerie and wine cave within a 15 minute walk. The famous spa town of Vernet les Bains is less than 2 miles away with a wider selection of shops, activities and restaurants. Many of France’s most beautiful villages are located within a short drive including the spectacular village of Eus and the world-heritage site of Villefranche de Conflent just 5 miles away, with its medieval fortifications, bistros and spectacular caves. This is also where the famous little yellow train starts its journey up into the ski resorts. The area is a walker’s paradise and there is a huge range of other sports and activities available nearby – from mountain biking to white water rafting – even the most active guests could find a different activity for every day!

We are well-served by low-cost airlines with Perpignan airport just 45 minutes away. Girona and Beziers airports are both about 1.5 hour's drive, with Carcassonne, Toulouse and Barcelona within 2 - 3 hours.
Our nearest railway station is 5 miles away at Villefranche de Conflent. there are TGV rail links from Perpignan to Barcelona and Paris (to link with Eurostar.)
There is a regular (though infrequent!) "eurobus" linking Sahorre to other local villages and Perpignan for just one euro per person.
Whilst a car is not absolutely essential, we feel it is highly recommended to have a car to make the most of this beautiful area.
