This 2nd floor apartment has stunning estuary views which can be enjoyed from both the lounge and main bedroom and has direct access via a private gate onto the southwest coastal footpath, you really don’t realise you are right in heart of Padstow. The apartments entrance is via the foyer and up 2 flights of stairs ( or via a lift.) Open plan Lounge/Dining/Kitchen is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The Kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, integrated dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and breakfast bar with stools, ideal for those mealtimes in when you aren’t enjoying the wonders of the local restaurants. The Lounge area has a Juliette Balcony to maximise the views over the private harbour to the Estuary, with two sofas, further chair, a TV DVD and Radio/CD player. A door to the right gives access to the Inner Hallway with door to the Main Bedroom at the front of the apartment with picture window and Estuary views with King-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bathroom - bath with shower over, low level WC and wash hand basin. Second Bedroom with two single beds, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, window. This apartment is in a prime position, being quiet and private yet close to the picturesque harbour and its many attractions, benefiting from an allocated Parking space. Electricity & Gas Central Heating - Included in rental. Changeover Day - Friday. Arrival 4pm and Departure 10am Prompt. One dog can be accommodated by prior arrangement with the owner at £30 per pet per week. Bedding: bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels and tea towels are all supplied. Polite reminder: Dogs are not permitted in the communal garden area. Dogs must be kept on a lead in all other communal areas.
Padstow is a picturesque working fishing port located on the North Cornish Coast offering a variety of shops and amenities as well as water sport activities. The surrounding area has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with several sandy beaches being within two to four miles.
For golfing enthusiasts the championship golf course at Trevose is four miles distant, the former market town of Wadebridge is within 7 miles and offers more extensive shopping facilities.
Newquay Airport which offers regular flights to the capital is within approximately 10 miles. and offers a number of national and international flights, with flights from London Gatwick to Newquay taking under one hour.
All types of water sports are available on the River Camel, water skiing, windsurfing, and sailing, prove to be very popular in both summer and winter. The famous surfing beaches of Newquay, Polzeath and Constantine Bay are only a short drive away. The championship links golf courses of Trevose and St Enodoc are within 5 & 9 miles respectively.
Connections are good with the A30 dual carriageway at Bodmin only 12 miles away which provides access to the national motorway network at Exeter. There is a railway station at Bodmin Parkway which links directly to London Paddington.
