Boulder Ridge Lodge The ultimate Black Hills retreat awaits at Boulder Ridge, a spacious log cabin with five bedrooms (three of which have private bathrooms). Enjoy a private hot tub, covered decks, custom rock fireplaces, 25-foot vaulted ceilings, and a game room with a foosball table, a big-screen TV, a chess/checkers table, and a wet bar. This home has a prime location just south of Lead off Rochford Road. You'll be right next to the Lead Country Club (known as the highest course east of the Rockies at 6,200 feet of elevation), so you can fit in nine holes before the family gets ready for your daily trek around the hills. The house is also close to the Mickelson Trail (for mountain biking and hiking), snowmobile trails, great fishing, dining and gaming in town, and Terry Peak Ski Area (nine miles north). To top it all off, this home has a garage and is accessed by paved roads - so bring your motorcycles and classic cars! <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> This property is managed by Vacasa South Dakota LLC. 4 dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. <br/>Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The wooden house met our expectations with everything. We had a very comfortable and fun time with 8 people, 1 child and 1 dog. We would definitely like to come again and spend more time.
Place was in a beautiful location. House was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay.
Quality vacation rental. Kitchen is well equipped to cook for a large group. Hottub and everything else was working well.
This house has plenty of sleeping room for large parties. We had 6 adults, 5 kids, & 3 dogs. The 3 bedrooms w/adjoining bathrooms were very handy for the adults and the kids were able to share a bathroom. The shared bathroom is small, but the half bath on the main floor is nice too. The beds are moderately comfortable and everything was clean. The hottub was also very enjoyable. The cover is very old and broken down so it gets water logged and very heavy to lift however. The only thing we didn't like was the extremely small kitchen. If you plan on doing meals at the house and you have a large group, it is not ideal. The house does need some minor maintenace and has some very interesting decor for being a cabin in the hills. Overall it's a good space for a large gathering and it allows dogs, which is hard to find.
