My family stayed here in December and it felt like we were in a Bob Ross painting. The property is beautiful and peaceful and everything we looked forward too. The house was spacious yet warm. The kitchen was well equipped. And our Children loved the Jacuzzi. We brought our service Dog and were pleasantly surprised that the host provided dog bowls and even toys. We only left the house twice, one was to Woodstock which is about a 50 min drive, but a scenic one. And the other time was to Liberty which is 15 min away and has an indoor Trampoline park that the kids enjoyed. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back again, hopefully to see some snow.

the property is as described well maintained, sufficiently stocked, great location and meets most requirements of an air BNB property. but things to be mindfulness of 1) water quality is poor (high sulphur content, noticeable smell) 2) low water pressure at the shower 3) some of the kitchen equipment such as the coffee maker were either not cleaned properly or have reached life. 4) internet provided at the property fluctuates a lot

Beautiful setting! We enjoyed the pool, the Jacuzzi, the fire pit and the babbling Brook. The interior of the house was nicely decorated. I loved the large windows providing great views outside.

We had a lovely time at Spruce Haven. The peaceful setting was what we all needed. The layout of the house made for great interactions with our family and friends. Each bedroom has an ensuite and It’s very nice that the main floor bdrm was separated from the two upstairs bdrms and large loft so those upstairs could hang out and not disturb the downstairs sleepers. The Nest was great for the other couple to have private time too. Everyone said the Casper beds were comfortable. The fire pit has café lights that turn on from a switch on the barn, a couple benches and lots of wood. The wooded lot was very serene- lots of property to explore. We were fortunate to enjoy nice weather every day so the pool, one of our requirements when renting, was definitely a big hit. And there are pool floaties in the garage. We are not hot tub people, but we did use couple times. We had a reasons to contact Red Cottage and they responded quickly. John who came to check on the pool was kind and unintrusive.
