Great for a gateway, I really enjoyed the space and peacefull suroundings. Unfortunately the pool was cold during my visit, but went for a swim anyway. The only downside i found is the smell that comes from a newarby pig farm, and when the wind is sending it your way, it's quite bad.

Over all not a bad stay! However upon inquiry I was told pool was heated and open but it’s not and closed, central heating is limited to 21 in such a big house feels a lot colder, had numerous power cuts. The most annoying is next door with a kennels in the garden which the dogs do not stop barking from the minute it goes dark until sunrise! Neighbours the other side are lovely and baked for us

Everything was perfect! Very attentive and flexible host, and the house is perfect for a family vacation in the country.
