Great place to stay. Clean, tidy and everything you need in a home from home. Seafront just around the corner, plenty of restaurants, arcades etc.
Good communication, and nice place!
The location was great in that it is very near to the seafront and pier and one free parking space is paid for in the seafront car park. If you need to park another car it is cheaper in the NCP car park in a different location. The house was very clean inside and the beds comfy. Some instructions for the tvs would have been helpful and I’m not sure we could have watched tv without an amazon prime account. The batteries for the remotes weren’t working but the agent responded very quickly and dropped some new ones at the house. The road at the front was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night but the back bedrooms weren’t affected. Tea, coffee pods, water and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us which was a nice touch. Really good fish and chips at Fish and Wish opposite the pier. Great pier museum and train ride down the pier.
This is a recently renovated mid terraced house. Very comfortable beds. Sleeps 10 if you include the sofa bed in the lounge. Nice powerful shower in the main bathroom. The location is perfect for the sea, Sea Life centre, restaurants and main Southend attractions. If I had to be picky it does border an area of social housing. However we encountered no issues during our stay. Our car was parked safely across the road in the Sea Life centre car park. We provided our car details to the hosts before arrival and so parking charges were included. The Sea Life centre is well worth a visit especially for the kids. The Pearl Dragon Chinese restaurant opposite the Sea Life centre was excellent! Overall great location to access Southend attractions and comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Southend-on-Sea is a popular resort town situated on the Thames Estuary, offering amusement parks, museums, shopping, scenic views and even live animal experiences. If you are travelling on a family holiday, you will find lots of exciting and fun things to do to thrill the kids, like visiting the popular Adventure Island theme park. It's filled with thrill rides, games, live entertainment and other attractions for grown-ups and kids of every age. At the Sealife Adventure aquarium, you’ll get close to marine life like clownfish, sea anemones and turtles. Or you can head to the Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park, where you can enjoy a petting zoo, tractor rides, mini-golf and more family-friendly fun. History enthusiasts will want to check out the ruined towers of Hadleigh Castle, which dates to the 13th century. Next, head to the Southend Central Museum and Planetarium to explore its natural history and archaeology exhibits. The Southend Pier and Railway has period train cars to explore. If you are an art lover, the Focal Point Gallery showcases various media from some of the most important contemporary artists.
Turn left from the Kursaal at the lights, take the next left and follow the road up to Beresford Road. It's the second house on the right after the end of the road.
The nearest parking is car park at the Sealife Centre, or the car park behind the house / to the right of 'Fantasia' amusement arcades.
