This was a wonderful place for our large family group. Lots of space to eat, hang out, play games, and visit. Beds were so comfortable and the whole place beautifully furnished. We used the lovely hot tub and pool and visited with the chickens. I highly recommend for a large group!

This is by far thee best Airbnb experience myself and my family have ever had! Ms. G spared no expense! Everything provided in the home is of the best quality… items you’d find in 5 star hotels! Every appliance you can think of is provided. made breakfast for 16 on the outdoor griddle! BBQ’d on the outdoor grill! seating, table settings and cutlery for more guests than we had present. games for family night, karaoke, chess/checkers tables, a pool table, paddle boating, fishing, a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and more! children also enjoyed the chickens and their eggs😊 Ms. G was only a phone call away when we needed her. She and her guests mingled with us pool side and engaged in conversation and laughter. one of her friends even jumped in the pool to splash around with our kiddos. Her husband lit fireworks for us the last night and invited us to view them! Ms. G and family were extremely hospitable! Genuine, good hearted people. Only thing we left wishing we had more of…was TIME! We’ll return!

As a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 tweens, and a dog :) Sassafras Farms exceeded our expectations in every way. There were an incredible amount family-friendly activities, and the hosts showed us the meaning of "southern hospitality". We stayed 3+ days and never left the property. Each family member was able to find their piece of heaven, a game room (many rounds of Uno were played), outdoor recreation (even a stocked fishing pond), and I could barely pull myself away from the floating chairs in the Saltwater pool.... Even our dog found her new love of running through open grass (a first for us city dwellers!). If I could gush one more thing... The Hosts brought us farm-fresh eggs in the morning!?!!? I'm so grateful our family will have these memories forever....We were already planning our next stay during the road trip home. Worth every penny and more!
