Experience the heart of downtown Missoula in this large studio apartment located on the Hip Strip! One of the best locations with bakeries, breweries, great restaurants and entertainment venues just steps away. Walk out your door onto the Clark Fork Riverfront Trail and watch the surfers on Brennan's wave. Caras Park, The Wilma, The Top Hat and Farmer's Market are all within a few blocks. Walk 8 minutes on the trail and explore the University of Montana campus. The Penwell Building was originally an old hotel built in 1910. Its purpose was to serve passengers from the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad (the Milwaukee Road), which began passenger service in 1911.

What a great little studio apartment that faced the river. It was within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and Caras Park. I would definitely stay here again
Great place to stay! Everything was very clean and the check in was a breeze. The only downsides are the parking and the building is a bit noisy, but those things can’t be helped. Would stay again!
