Was supposed to have someone to pick us up at the train station… no one was there. The room was very clean but very small, 9 square meters (100 sq feet) No window except for the one giving us a view of the hallway! Had to ask many times for a second towel ( we are 2). Got up to get our tickets for Machu Picchu (3:30am) and the door was locked making it impossible to leave the hotel. No common area to enjoy a drink or sit and relax, impossible to use the restaurant besides breakfast. Would not recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay in Aguas Calientes. The accommodation was situated in a great location, near the Peru rail, and center. We were close to everything. Someone came to pick us up from the train terminal to take us to the accommodation. Our room was as in seen in photos, very nicely decorated and cosy. The whole hotel was nice, the lobby felt very Peruvian/Cusco. The breakfast included was also nice. We were also able to leave our luggage at reception for the whole day, since we were going to do the Machu Picchu climb. They were very accommodating. I will definitely be back!
