Mitch and Lynette are such nice and gracious hosts! The cottage was charming and the bed was really comfortable. There’s no Verizon service in the area but the wifi was really fast and reliable my whole stay. The ranch is stunning and you should absolutely take the ATV tour if offered — the views up the hill are beautiful!

Gorgeous location to take in the beauty of the Pinnacles. I love the history of this camp. Host is wonderful, there’s land to explore and he will ask you sign a waiver and take steps to stay safe. Everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The shower they installed is amazing too with front facing sprayers you can turn on. Loved it!

We used the Ranch Retreat as a base for our Pinnacles NP hiking adventures. The drive to and from the NP is a meditation in and of itself - truly a majestic setting - a relief of the crowds in the park proper. Mitch allowed us to use an external outlet to plug in our EV. He is a wonderful host who gave us a tour of his spectacular ranch - and gave us a heartfelt peak into all that it takes to keep an independent ranch alive and well in California. The cabin itself was charmingly appointed and had every convenience we could want. Mitch also introduced us to nearby places of interest and made calls to the proprietors on our behalf. Can’t speak highly enough of this gem in a remote and stunning part of beautiful California.

Cozy and charming little cabin that had everything that I needed to have a relaxing weekend. It was a good home base to explore Pinnacles and is remote and private enough to feel like a real get away. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t try to be. I would stay again.
