Camano's North end is the perfect base camp for exploring the entire island, Skagit Valley, Anacortes + the San Juans, plus so many other PNW destinations. Stellar sunsets, full beach access, ocean breezes at your door. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, this 420-square-foot space features a comfy queen-sized bed, kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, toaster + coffee maker), and a three-quarter bath. TV and Wi-Fi are available. There's also an infrared electric fireplace for the winter season. The studio is situated above the garage, behind the main home. Private beach access is steps away (use a path along the side of the main home + walk across the lawn). There is a significant step-down from the bulkhead to the beach. Note: BBQs, propane stoves, etc are prohibited. The kitchenette is basic: microwave, toaster, mini fridge, kettle and coffee maker. There are utensils, can opener, dishes, etc. Most guests do easy-to-make meals (sandwiches, microwave meals), purchase picnic items for a beach picnic, or bring home take out. If you’re looking to cook full homemade meals, you may want to look at booking an entire home, many of which can be found on the island. The studio is on the North end of the island, which makes it a prime location for sightseeing. You're within an hour drive of the entire Skagit Valley, Anacortes + Deception Pass, Mount Vernon, Bellingham, Padilla Bay, Bow + Edison, etc. You're also just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, coffee, and other conveniences. While the location is great as a home base for travels and sightseeing, it's also awesome as a writer's retreat or workspace. The neighborhood is quiet; the studio peaceful. Beach walks and sea breezes do wonders for writer's block and resets.
