Visit the nearby parks and lakes with the whole family, or come hunt and fish in the area with friends and then grill out dinner and rest your head at this peaceful place to stay. Located near the center of Olney, there are many activities within walking distance of the home including the city swimming pool, skateboard park, sports fields, and kids playground. The home boasts a cabin-feel living area, 2 queen/1 full bedrooms, 1 bath, and a full kitchen! Plenty of room to bring your pets!

Michael was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. The house was just as described and pictured. Fit our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend and would use in the future.
Very laid back environment close to stores very quite
I stayed at Park Place with my two small pups. The house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed early morning breakfasts in the large fenced in yard (shady in the am & sunny in the pm); spent our days exploring Red Hills State Park, East Fork Lake, Olney City Park, Rotary Park and the neighborhood in general; and relaxed in the evenings eating local food while watching the smart TV. The people of Olney are pleasant and friendly - I felt completely safe staying there by myself. I accidentally locked myself out but, amazingly, Michael resolved it within 30 minutes while he was out of town. The weather was in the upper 90s yet the air conditioning worked very well. I will definitely stay again on my next trip down that way.

Family-friendly neighborhood close to parks, swimming pool, lakes, skateboarding, shopping and dining. Good area for walking dogs and evening strolls. If your visit is timed right, you can hear the baseball games at the park of an evening or the soccer games in the morning! There's a kids playground area within walking distance at the park as well! The very friendly neighbors will make you feel like you've lived with them in the neighborhood all your life!
Everything in Olney is typically within a 15 minute drive or so. There are several things to do within walking distance for families and kids. The city also has Birds, pay for use scooters scattered around town - pay on the scooter, ride where you want to, and leave the scooter there for someone else to use.
Olney is located 20 minutes south of Newton, IL; 20 minutes west of Lawrenceville, IL; 20 minutes east of Flora, IL; 25 minutes from Albion, IL; 45 minutes southwest of Robinson, IL; 30 minutes west of Vincennes, IN.

Small town real family folks that stumbled into hosting skeptical of it our town could support it! 3 years later, we've added houses and really enjoy renovating them and hosting! We have 3 grown children, 7 dogs & 7 cats! Life has blessed my wife and I with being able to travel in the last couple of years both here and abroad, seeing other cultures and fantastic sites, getting ideas for hosting, and enjoying others hospitality!
