I stayed at the Cabin with my daughter about a week ago. The Cabin was beautiful, clean, and relaxing; a perfect secluded getaway! Douglas made sure we were warm and comfortable. He set up a bonfire so we can roast marshmallows. My daughter loved playing with the chickens. He gave us fresh eggs. Be sure to buy his honey it's delicious! Also, I loved the Candula cream you can buy that his wife makes. I hope to go back and nap in the cozy cabin again!

Doug’s place is perfect for comfort, peace and quiet with delightful chickens to entertain you and provide eggs. It is located within driving distance of Toronto, Niagara Falls, Stratford Theatre, Shaw festival and lovely hikes and waterfalls. Highly recommend this charming, rustic cabin (built by Doug!). He is a wonderful host who was quick to meet our needs. We are already planning a return

This place exceeded my expectations. Doug provided some fresh honey and eggs. The cabin was super clean and he took care of everything. There was enough firewood provided for inside and outside. His wife also makes handmade soaps and you can buy those if you want. Can’t complain about anything. Also the best part is the chickens roaming around.

Immaculately clean and cosy cabin. We enjoyed wine and games by the wood fire after exploring the area. The fire was stoked and the cabin so warm when we arrived, farm fresh eggs and cream provided. The bed soooo comfortable.
