Greyton Toad Hall is a guesthouse with separate guest entrance , each room has their own entrance either off the garden or the stoep, and there is a kitchen/ dining area and in winter a tv lounge, kitchen and fireplace. This room has a bathroom 3m away on the stoep on this cottage - a twin (or king) with ensuite in the historical house is available in July- September, and in summer available by arrangement - a honeymoon suite at the front of the property off the stoep, with its luxurious bath in the bedroom and ensuite bathroom is available July- September, and in summer by arrangement. - a tv lounge, fireplace and dining room in the historical main house will be up and running winter 2024- access only if the 2 rooms in the house ( honeymoon suite and twin/ king ) are booked. Either way the back cottage has a large kitchen/ dining (35 square metres) with dining table, crockery, glasses, pots/pans and utensils for 22, large fridge/ freezer and 26l air fryer. All beds are fitted with electric blankets in winter months to keep you toasty and we aim to put a fireplace in said kitchen /dining by 1 August. Two of the king units are self catering with cooking facilities of 2 hot plates and desktop oven, bar fridge with small freezer, pots, pans, salad bowls, servers, braai serving pot, tongs etc and cutlery/crockery for 4 seatings per unit. There is a gas braai, wood fired braai and wood fired pizza oven in the back garden for your use (cooking utensils provided). Do bring wood or it can be purchased at Osmans and OK You are in a wonderful tranquil back garden setting with the largest pool in Greyton- a whopping 10 by 5m salt water pool replete with floating unicorn and floating pool loungers, loungers by side of pool with pool towels, pool cocktail bar and incredible views of the mountains. The stoep at the front of the house is arguably the best in town to watch the action! We can sort breakfast at 120R a person from 4U cafe diagonally opposite- vouchers can be used in their restaurant or they can deliver to the back garden or stoep! Imagine sitting in your dressing gown with all your mates having breakfast. The fully enclosed back garden contains an outdoor dining table / chairs (seats 8) which can be expanded by the addition of the plentiful 2 seater tables/chairs dotted around the garden. Numerous suspending egg chairs and outdoor tables/chairs makes sure you relax while you are here. A 10 seater wood fired hot tub can be lit by prior arrangement - 24 hours notice needed- as it takes 8 hours to heat and we will include 1.5 wheelbarrows of wood for the first night of the hot tub- additional wood can be purchased on site /OK or Osmans We are fully on inverters/solar so you won’t experience any load shedding. All that we ask is that try not to use kettles during load shedding as that will drain the batteries. Better to have lights and plugs- and pop over the road for proper coffee!!
