The Beach House of Wellfleet is a stunning "Classic cape" cedar-shingled beachhouse nestled directly on Wellfleet Bay, with glorious views of the bay that can be taken in from the expansive decks and private swim beach. This luxury property includes a 4 bedroom "Main House," designed with natural styling and chic, high end finishes and furnishings, as well as a charming 1 bedroom guest cottage. Enjoy a peaceful escape at this enchanting beachside retreat - a perfect spot for a summer getaway! The Main House includes four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with beds for 12 though we prefer a maximum guest count of 10 (any exception to be made at our discretion). The kitchen is oversized with a beautiful stone island, gas range, and built in oven among three banks of cabinets and pantry storage. It enjoys an open floorplan to the dining room and living room. Banks of French doors and floor to ceiling windows give you 120 degree water views from almost every room in the house. The best feature, however, is the 60 foot wide cedar double-deck - up and down - which enjoy some of the best views found anywhere on the cape. Enjoy oysters on the half shell while watching epic sunsets over Great Island from the deck and in the afternoon, retreat to the underdeck below to experience bay breezes in shade. The main floor living room has a working fireplace and air conditioning as well as a large dining room that seats 10 comfortably. There is an upstairs office loft with a window overlooking the bay to remind you what you are missing while clicking away on your laptop. The loft/office is not included in the SF or bedroom count that includes futons and a sitting room adjacent to the office. These are, of course, included for your use but we do not want them used for sleeping or additional occupancy. The large master bedroom is the only bedroom on the main floor. It includes private french doors to the deck, a king sized bed, and an lavish private bathroom, garden foyer, and an oversized private bathtub to go along with separate "rain" [shower] room as well as twin sinks. The garden foyer has ceiling windows with garden views between the bathroom and bedroom for reading or escaping a large house full of people. At night you will enjoy the salty beach breezes and bay sounds from your luxurious bed that is far enough away from the center of the house to get an amazing night's rest. Downstairs there are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one bath and shower, the other shower only), a laundry room, a TV entertainment room, and a covered "underdeck" 60 foot wide porch. The underdeck is perfect for those who want to escape the sun - midday- but who still want to enjoy the beach and bay. The largest bedroom is located down a hallway and includes a king sized poster bed and twin bunk beds (for complete families) with french doors that open onto the underporch. Off the entertainment room, nearer to the stairs are two bedrooms, one includes two regular sized twin beds (kids) and the other, a queen bedroom with private doors to the porch. The TV room enjoys an "L" shaped blue leather sofa and DirecTv. Lastly, but not least the under porch has a well loved ping pong table for kids or the kid in you to enjoy.
