Very difference vacation experience. never was a dry land the entire vacation. House is located toward the front of the marina, so just off the lake. Great views and much quieter than we expected.

Great place to relax and enjoy peaceful vacation . We celebrated my husband’s birthday and couldn’t ask for more beautiful surroundings: we watched sunrise every morning from the boat we rented in local marina and watched sunsets from the “deck” on the house. Once you’ll get used to the toilet - you are set 😁The owners thought of everything ( from fresh ice cubes waiting for you in the freezer to fresh clean sheets and pillows ) to make our stay comfortable and to make us feel welcome . There’s plenty beds to sleep on but we chose the pull out couch which had a great view of the lake and local baby ducks . Also I am a “ mosquito magnet “ and we were warned that there might be bugs ( which the owners left us an OFF spray just in case ) - surprisingly we did not see one flying insect ! Loved every minute of stay there and we are planning our next year trip with our sons already

We were excited to get away and be on Norris lake. The cleanest lake around. The marina was huge and the people were friendly. We had to drive around to find the house because we didn’t get exact location. Upon arrival the house looked nice and a good location. When we got up close there were wolf spider webs all over. Nats &Crickets. The door was unlocked coming in and the floors were sunken in. Very dangerous as I fell coming into the house tripping over the rug with a massive dip in the floor. We could not walk anywhere in the living room. The bed was small but comfortable. The couch was old and smelled. The brbq grill worked. Tables were not cleaned. I scrubbed the outside and the inside after we left. The guest clean the place. So depends on how clean of a person you are. We left it cleaner after we left. Mopped and vacuumed. We cleaned spider webs and the shower & toilet. The host was nice but failed to tell us the damage to the house on the inside & tags were expired.

Great little place… price is right… location is better then most… beautiful veiw and great for people watching… neighbor’s are great… everything was is working order… very clean inside… owner left cleaning supplies which is very helpful… host response are quick… bathroom situation is a little different then the norm…
