I have to say our stay a Caitríona’s was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was fantastic. It had a small kitchen that was perfect for what we needed it for. The real mvp was the outdoor pizza oven tho. Me made a few frozen pizzas on it but making our own cheese crostini’s on it was truly a great experience. The outdoor area was great, especially when the goats and sheep came by to investigate. The hot tub/pool/sauna were probably the highlight of our stay though. The hot tub was amazing. One night it rained and it was so relaxing to sit in the warm tub with the cold rain coming down. The pool is amazing too. It’s really cold right now (10C/50F if I had to guess), but it was great to do a cold plunge and get back into the hot tub. And the sauna was a great way to end the night. It’s a lot of fun to stoke the fire and then throw water on the rocks. 11/10 for the whole pool/sauna experience. When we come back to Ireland, we will 100% be staying here again. Thanks again!

We loved our stay with Caitríona and we can’t wait to go back! She could not have been a more hospitable, friendly and helpful host. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with plenty of lovely walks nearby. The cottage itself is gorgeous - full of charm but with modern amenities like an electric shower, infrared radiators, and well kitted out kitchen. The pool, sauna, and hot tub on site were the real highlight for us though! The stay exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend visiting.

Great weekend away at Caitríona’s, beautiful surroundings, great bbq and pizza oven too use. Accommodation was lovely and falling asleep with the river noise was great. The natural pool, sauna and hot tub are fantastic. A great property and Caitríona was a wonderful host. Looking forward to making about her trip up there

Absolutely loved our stay here - the weather was just not on our side , however, this did not stop us using the amenities to our enjoyment. Loved the hot tub and the natural swimming pool was a great touch - so unique! The pizza oven was also great fun to use and the pizzas tasted amazing out of it - everything was easy to use as Caitríona greeted us and gave a great walkthrough and explanation of everything. The host was also available for any questions we had and even washed and dried some of our towels for our dogs, as I clearly hadn’t brought enough for how wet it was going to be lol. Very accommodating host, for multiple reasons. Fantastic place and bonus of dog friendly - can’t be beat.
