The house itself was very nicely done, with some truly lovely pieces of furniture and did feel close to nature when in living room with large windows.

My husband and I were disappointed in our stay at Emma's place. That being said, Emma is a FABULOUS host. We had a small plumbing issue (it is a very delicate septic system, although there was no warning or mention of this anywhere) and Emma was very quick to respond and resolve the issue. The house itself is very charming and decorated tastefully. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and it had (almost) everything we needed. Unfortunately, the pictures do not accurately depict the property. There is now an ugly 8-9 foot black chain link fence around the perimeter of the property (which seems to have been put up by a neighbor), obstructing the gorgeous view of the lake. The property is already small and the fence did not help. We didn't feel like we had much privacy because the neighbors, of which there are many, are so close. There was a lot of construction happening and it was constantly noisy. The lake, while seemingly close, is also a 10-minute walk from the house.

I enjoyed the stay very much, quiet cozy place, very relaxing with all amenities accessible. Place is right by the lake with beautiful views.
