We went down to view the eclipse with all 7 of our grandchildren ranging in age from 10th months to 13 yr house was relatively easy to child proof with 2 three year olds and a 5 yr old with special needs By putting breakables in the shower downstairs backyard was perfect to view eclipse If I had a complaint it would be that the kitchen didn’t flow well for cooking the garbage was far from the sink and stove Dave did an excellent job at restoring the house and it was a honor to stay in a house that was built so long ago We took the kids and walked the neighborhood a bit and then downtown lots to do without the amazing eclipse Dave knew we were coming for the eclipse and had glasses for us It was more than I wanted to spend a night but it was a priceless experience to witness the eclipse with 3 generations I hope the house is around for a few more generations to come thanks to people like Dave parts of history can be treasured by many Great host he jumps car batteries!

My 5 friends and I had a terrific stay at the Heritage House. It was a very comfortable, spacious and charming house in a terrific location. Easily walkable to some bars and restaurants and a 10 minute drive from Cedar Point. Our host Dave was extremely responsive leading up to the trip and everything was great. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay and loved being so close to cedar point and downtown. We loved the yard as well. Much more spacious than expected! We did have troubles with the boiler (we were the first to use it that year for heat) but there was a light switch in the boiler room that needed to be on to get it running. Overall good experience

Never told me about him staying in a room in the house also, when we communicated for weeks prior also, while we are there even though it was in the description which I didn’t know about until after we got back from cedar point at midnight and heard snoring coming from the room. I had teenage girls with me this was so nerve racking, no garbage bags in trash cans, food left in fridge

Fantastic place to stay, 7 minutes from Cedar Point. Walkable restaurants, and cute location.
