What a beautiful location. The gardens were so peaceful and sweet to relax in. The nook kitchen had everything I needed. The whole space was clean and functional and cute and cozy. I had to make a number of reservation adjustments throughout my stay and Bonnie was so sweet and accommodating. She was so friendly and greeted me with a garden tour. Such a lovely experience all around.

Bonnie's place is nice! It's on a pretty farm and didn't take long to get to from the Swartz Bay ferry. Bonnie was very friendly and I got a chance to chat with her and walk around the property shortly after I got there. I think my favorite thing about the place is that there's a really cool trail at the end of the road near the place that takes you up Mt. Newton where you can get a nice view of the bay from the bluffs. I also like the picnic tables in the garden - I got to work an afternoon from there and it was nice. The place was a little less private than I was hoping - if I left the blinds down I was in clear view of other guests that were staying and were frequently seated at a table outside. It also felt a little less isolated than I was hoping - it feels like you're very close to the city but if you need to go to Victoria there's a surprising amount of traffic in-between. Overall, though, the place has everything you need, the farm is very pretty and Bonnie is a great host!
