Very good if you truly just need a place to spend the night in the area. The shared bathrooms were further away than expected, but not too big of an inconvenience. Incredible area to stay, so a pretty great value overall.

I had a last-minute work trip to NYC and was able to book a single room at The Flat, which is centrally located in Chelsea. I appreciated the easy check-in process and everyone who worked the front desk was helpful and friendly. My room had a shared bathroom on the floor but it was never an issue having to wait for a toilet or shower since there are a couple facilities to each floor, each surprisingly clean considering the high usage. All in all, I'd recommend The Flat for an easy, affordable, no-frills stay in the city.
