The people who clean this place deserve a Good Housekeeping award. It was a good-vibe space. Very serene to watch/listen to the waves gently lapping on the beach right below the deck. Nice touches: bag o' coffee beans to grind fresh (delicious!) and a DVD of The Birds. I thwarted the ants by keeping some water in the sink to put dirty dishes in while I cooked. The kitchen was well-equipped. Note: You can't walk anywhere from here, not even to the excellent Fishetarian eatery practically next door. No space for pedestrians along the road. We went for a long walk along Doran Beach ($7 admission) and checked out the artist collectives in Bodega. It's good to buy something, no matter how small, they really appreciate it. We got a lovely little painting as a souvenir of our happy stay here.

Bodega Bay and Beyond's place was great! The view each day was amazing, literally right on the bay. There were tons of birds, sealions, etc. cruising around. Excellent experience in the heart of everything!

We loved it at Bodega Bay & walked to Fishetarian at low tide for dinner. It was wonderful to watch seals & sea lions out the window all day!

Even in on and off stormy weather, this was an amazing studio, and we'll definitely be coming back! We saw sea lions, birds, sunsets, and a painted sky of clouds rain. Amazing food was walking distance, and if you wanted even more amazing $$$$ food, it's a 5-minute drive. We had no problem with the parking. The only quibble was--at least in these winter months (March 1)--it would be nice to have rugs on the cold flooring. Likewise, the bathroom flooring could use some rugs. If you're looking for a gorgeous get-a-way at a great price, book now.
