Cross House is prominently located in the centre of Padstow just steps away from the famous Padstow harbour, restaurants and shops. Our charming sunny suite is located on the top floor of our historic home and exudes plenty of character with features such as exposed wood beams and a bay window where you can sit and enjoy a cuppa. The Loft Annex is a recent renovation of the upper floor in the rear of our stunning historic Georgian home and has been converted into a 1 double en suite room and 1 single room with bunkbeds. So this is a private suite of 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. The suite comfortably sleeps four with two in the double room and two in the bunk bed room. When you book the Loft, you’ll have your own parking space on site and a private entrance through a hallway where you can hang your coats, leave your shoes and store small items such as suitcases/ wakeboards/ golf clubs etc. out of the way giving you more space in your rooms. Please note, as with many old homes in Cornwall, the stairs going up to the Loft are a bit shallow and narrow with low headroom, so please bear this in mind before booking especially if you have mobility issues. Room Features: The Main Bedroom features a standard UK double bed, Freeview TV, Nespresso machine & tea making facilities plus a chair, clothing rail with plenty of hangers, chest of drawers and a fan. For easy charging of all your devices the bedside lamps in the main bedroom have built in USB ports. The main bedroom also features a modern en suite shower room with great pressure and constant hot water. The en suite shower room is compact so you should be aware of this especially if you are coming as a family, and anyone in the bunk bed room has to pass through the main bedroom to access the bathroom. In the bathroom under the sink you will find a hairdryer, washing up liquid with a new sponge and spare toilet rolls. Hand soap and body wash are also provided as well as towels. The Single Room features standard single bunk beds, a small fridge, desk and chair, clothing rail with 10 hangers, fan, clothes steamer and an electric towel dryer. There is also an adjustable fold up table provided with two stools in the room which you can use as needed. DOGS We allow 1 dog up to approx. 15kg. Please contact us ahead of time to let us know you are bringing a dog. It’s very important that dogs must never be left alone in the space for any length of time and to do so is a breach of our house rules. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. Wet dogs must not be allowed on carpeted areas, we recommend bringing your own dog bed and towels. Please note, this is the only room that allows dogs. We expect guests bringing their dog to manage its barking as it will disturb other guests. It may be possible to arrange a dog sitter if required. Please contact us to enquire.
