Rental was perfect for our stay, and came as advertised. Unit, although small, was extremely functional, especially the nice kitchen space and bright, roomy bathroom. Close walk into town for shops, restaurants, etc. Quick 5 to 10 minute drive to National Seashore beaches. Wading pool just outside was fantastic and convenient.

This was our most disappointing stay in Ptown. The apartment is a below grade basement apartment with extremely high humidity. When we entered the apartment we were overwhelmed by the mildew smell. The ceiling and walls are covered with mildew spots that have been scraped off and painted over. There is a dehumidifier but the apartment is so humid that the dehumidifier has to be emptied every 2-4 hours. If the humidifier is not emptied, the humidity levels go above 90% within 30 minutes. As a result, the towels and bedding all smell like mildew within a day or so of being cleaned. On our first morning the smoke detector went off, ostensibly because the humidity levels were so high. The apartment is very small but the appointments are beautiful. Nice art work, kitchen appliances, etc. the owners should address the humidity levels or at least let people know what they’re getting. Del Mar should change out the linens every 2-3 days until the humidity issues are addressed.

It was a wonderful stay. The team is very responsive and helped us navigate parking. We traveled with a dog and an infant both of whom had an excellent time! Loved the pool!! The location was really the best part… 1 minute walk to commercial street. One note, we left some dog food out overnight (my dog grazes) and there were some tiny ants on the food in the morning. No big deal but you might want to pick up food if you’re traveling with a pet.
