This is a fantastic airbnb. One of the best I've stayed at. You'll like it too if you enjoy the sound of silence—I'd never heard so much silence before—, and stunning surroundings. The place was spotless and very comfortable. It's a great stay for a few days away from it all.

Rented this small cottage for a weekend. Looks and feels brand new. Reasonably priced. A bit hard to find, but we finally made it. You need to take unpaved, packed sand roads after you exit Route 247 several miles N of Yucca Valley. Once we arrived, check-in was easy. Very private and quiet. Surprisingly roomy with a queen bed and a pull-out bed. WiFi was very good. Had hoped for lots of stargazing, but the moon was out all night. Otherwise, stargazing should be great here. A couple of suggestions. The windows/slider don't have screens. So we weren't comfortable leaving them open or even cracked a bit at night for fresh air to avoid unwanted insects/critters. Also, would be helpful to have some printed instructions/information available at the property. There is a small firepit, but we weren't sure whether we were allowed to burn wood in it. Unfortunately, the coffee maker was a Keurig, and we had brought regular ground coffee. But overall a very pleasant experience.

Neil's Airbnb listing was an amazing place to stay. It's relatively close to local attractions and Joshua Tree, and the home was private, clean, and had a wonderful view at sunset. Neil was very quick to respond and was a great host. His guidebook helped us find some places to eat and visit, which made our travel plans easier. I would definitely recommend his Airbnb for future visits.
