The place hadn't been cleaned for an extended period of time. Dirty, bug-filled windows and doors, TV didn't work, very disappointing. We didn't use the shower, the water smelled like sewer gas/sulpher and we weren't sure it was potable. One coffee pot was broken and the other disgustingly dirty. We even had to take the owner's or previous renters' garbage out to be picked up for weekly disposal. Huge mess, with a gas grill you wouldn't put food on, very dirty and food/rust build-up. This is the type of property that should be delisted by Air BnB.

The location is wonderful. The lake is perfect. Steps to the lake are a bit dicey. There is signage stating the steps can be slippery..and they are! The amenities are minimal. Both the TV remote and the coffee pot (Keurig) did not work. Salt shaker was empty. Soap in the bathroom was empty. Each occupant gets 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth. We had 2 kitchen towels for our 5 night stay. Lighting is terrible in the cabin. Had to have a flashlight on to read a book. Overall, we had a great stay due to the location.

this place was perfect for our week in the area. We didn't use it much because our in-laws live on a lake close by but it was clean, cozy, and had beautiful views! Beds were comfy and amenities perfect to suit our needs. We would definitely book again.

Great place for the money. The stairs are a bit steep and tight which makes it difficult to get lake toys or people with questionable footing down to the water. Toilet paper and dish towels were provided, but for a one week stay we only had two rolls of toilet paper and one dish towel. But, overall our family had a fun week.

Cabin was very nice, just not well cleaned, lots of cob webs and spiders. Stairway down to lake extremely dangerous, wood slippery as heck, fell once and slipped another time. Brush overgrown. Was unable to talk to anyone on check in day, Darin on vacation and did not want to talk, gave us number for his host and they did not reply to text messages and phone calls, could not even leave message as phone messages was full. Overall still a good stay, good fishing lake and lots to do in town.
