The location of the flat is what stood out for us! Walkable from basically every tourist point we wanted to visit, with very nice restaurants, bars and small stores close by. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. I'm allergic to dust and I suffered a bit, although the flat was visibly clean. I don't consider this as a negative as it happens in many "old" flats, but if you have respiratory allergies be aware. Street was noisy and you could hear from the bedroom, but we were always so tired from walking around we didn't really mind. Hosts were super friendly, responsive and helpful. We definitely recommend this place!!

My name is Mario, I am 53 years old and I was born in Rome. I have a degree in dentistry and I am postgraduated in Periodontology and Implantology. My wife Gabriella has a degree in the arts and she got a PhD in Economic Geography. We have two children, Rose-Marie, who is 10 years old and Giuseppe who is six. From March 2016 we started this new experience with airbnb. It let us discover the pleasure of sharing with our guests a thing of beauty ( our apartment and Rome of course !! ) . I lived in the apartment on Via dei Coronari until I got married in 2004. Often I come back with Gabriella and with the kids to spend the weekend in the old town centre of Rome. When I was dating with Gabriella, we loved to spend the weekend walking around the old town, visiting the ancient Roman ruins, churches and museums. We loved lunch and dinner in the restaurants near the apartment. The Roman cuisine is excellent !! It was also very nice to rest in the apartment devoting ourselves to reading. We have kept the books arranged in the small libraries in the apartment because they remind us of the atmosphere of when we were engaged ... with the kids now things are a little different but always beautiful :-) What I am suggesting to our guests is to savor the unique atmosphere of the old town center of Rome ... walks, visits to the artistic beauties, lunches and dinners at nearby restaurants ... reading when you are in the apartment. We put the tv set for our guests, but when we spend a few days in the old town we keep it strictly off !! ;-)
