Five of us were in the area for a work trip. Ryan's place exceeded our expectations in terms on amenities & space to spread out, including our work gear. Was a great spot to come back to and relax after each day.

This place is beautiful. The view from the great room onto the lake is framed by trees and you can see trees across the lake. You are somewhat close to your neighbors but the terrain and greenery makes it almost impossible to see them and difficult to hear them so there's a great sense of privacy. The boathouse is equipped with kayaks and canoes, and the lake was perfectly still while we were there. The decor is neutral but not boring, so you feel like it's your place. If you are a person "of size" like we are, you will find lots of seating options that you don't have to worry will collapse when you sit down. Just queried my partner for further comment and he says "Fantastic. They made it as easy as possible for guests to have a good time there." Dogs loved it too! The only things that might be improved on are that the one bathtub is tiny. Also, the property is on a steep grade down to the lake so you have to be a bit careful walking down there.

We spent a week at Ryan’s in August and had an absolute blast. The kids and adults enjoyed the canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. The floating mat was great for the kids. And they caught a ton of fish off the dock. Grandparents and parents enjoyed the screened in porch. His place was as described and had plenty of room-it was just what we were looking for!

House was huge! Fit 4 couples + 2 kids comfortably (3 bedrooms in basement and 1 master bedroom on first floor. One couple ended up using the surprise bonus top floor as their bedroom but beware it is more of a loft because it’s open to the main living room below and no curtains on the windows overlooking the driveway, however it has its own private bathroom and 2 single beds + 2 futon bunks). This was probably one of the cleanest rentals we have ever rented. No bugs or spiders or anything. This house was beyond supplied- lots of TP, paper towels, detergent. The other surprise for us was the huge screened in porch off the master bedroom. We spent a lot of time out here since the mosquitoes were so bad. Has a table in it to eat dinner and more than enough seating! Saw lots of eagles, 1 barred owl and 1 coyote! Caught lots of fish including a northern pike right off the pier. There are a lot of stairs so if you are not in the best shape this might not be the right fit for you.
