This home is ideally located a short 1.5 mile drive to Hersheypark. The cozy cape cod in the tiny town of Sandbeach was lovingly remodeled blending its 1950's bones with new modern features including a top floor game room for the kids, stylish kitchen with dining area and cozy living room, and shaded deck. Two private first floor bedrooms each have their own flat screen tv and queen bed. New, modern bath includes stand up shower and vanity. Ask for details on a next day laundry service. Outdoor deck, small galley kitchen with table for four. Small living room with sofa and two bean bag chairs. Steps to vaulted upstairs game room with tent reading nook, board game table, video gaming area. Short hallway on first floor leads to two bedrooms and brand new bathroom.

We loved it! It was close to Hershey park and the restaurants we went to. The house was also clean and up to date. It was perfect for our anniversary weekend!
Greatly enjoyed our stay at Kay’s Airbnb! The house was very clean, cutely furnished, and was so close to Hershey Park. We were 5 minutes from the Hershey downtown area and so many other things. The house is small, but was spacious enough for our family. There were thoughtful touches throughout such as candies, water bottles, and a print out of recommendations to see while in the area. The only negatives were that the beds weren’t super comfy and we had to be really careful with our toddler when she was upstairs because it is an open stairway (which Kay had communicated). There is a gate installed at the bottom of the stairs. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Small 1950s town with mostly original homeowners. Ideally close to Swatara Creek.
Absolulutely NO on street parking. Very narrow streets. (Neighbors keep each other honest on the one!) Plenty of parking on property. Two spots right bedside the deck and kitchen door. More parking if you pull down the drive along the side of the house.

After being a stay at home mama for 13 years raising my four children, I worked in the school setting for 27 years. I am newly retired and enjoying a slower paced life at home with my husband Joe, my dog Izzy, a garden, green grassy yard, and flowers on the fence. Hosting an Airbnb has given me an opportunity to meet a lot of really great guests and share my love for the beauty and quietness of nature. Enjoying Airbnb guests so much, we recently added our small town cottage rental. Looking at both properties, it will be obvious that we have a real love for the Airbnb adventure.
