The place is nice and it is obvious that it is great during the season. So I don’t think this review is very representative as I guess we just were unlucky. However, we felt that place was not very ready for the stay. The garden furniture was a bit unattended and bbq was dirty. Some stuff in the house was not working properly but I assume it is fixed for the season. Nolan and Lisa were very nice and polite. I think it’s great place during summer and possibly festive season, a shame that we picked up a bad time for our stay.

We absolutely loved staying at The Limes, it was definitely a home from home in beautiful surroundings. The house was warm and inviting when we arrived. even on a miserable, cold, wet and windy winters afternoon. Nolan there to meet us in person and was kind enough to show us around the house, explaining how everything worked and sharing a few more local tips over and above the already comprehensive house booklet. I can't recommend the property more highly, nor recommend Nolan enough for his warmth, generosity and friendliness throughout the booking, arrival and stay. In fact, if we have one disappointment. It was that we hadn't booked for longer.

Fabulous house and pool for a group or family. We were 6 friends who were due to come in the summer but were delayed due to health reasons so we were thrilled when we could move it and the pool and hot tub were still running. Nolan was extremely helpful and had everything running for us. We all had lovely comfortable sleeps in the lovely bedrooms - plenty of space for everyone. We had everything that we needed too in terms of cooking etc. It must be so gorgeous in the summer months as stunning views and lovely social areas in the garden. Thank you again for being so helpful and for a great weekend - we loved Polecat and Nags head which Nolan recommended.

We had a phenomenal time and we were appreciative of the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful location with such rich history. It is wonderful that Nolan and Lisa have opened it for others to experience. The location was exceptional on every level. Exquisite English countryside ambiance, and incredible convenience with regard to proximity to village amenities. It was lovely. Thank you so much!

Amazing place. It was our last stop before coming back to the US, and it was exactly what we needed. A peaceful house with a lot of space for the kids. Nolan and Lisa were very attentive and made sure we felt at home.
