Harinder’s homestay is a premier choice in Amristar. It’s walkable to many sights including the golden temple and you can easily get ride share apps or rickshaws right out the door. They have a back up generator so if the power goes out temporarily you still have AC, fans, and lights (at least for awhile.) The WiFi is decently fast and worked well most of the time for video calls. He also just got a desk and chair recently so remote workers with a back up SIM card can feel comfor. He provides water as well as a kitchen with most of what you need to make some light meals or reheat things from the fridge. Harinder and his wife are excellent hosts and the provided breakfast every morning is varied and top notch. They have a cleaning woman who can freshen your space up and do laundry. We just tipped her for the laundry. Their place is also spotless. Lots of places in India could use a deep clean and dust/dirt is in many places but not so in this accommodation. Good for long or short stays.

My stay with Harinder and his amazing wife, Binder, was exceptional. The room itself is exactly as described and very clean, comfortable and feels like home. I was greeted with the warmest welcome and was treated like family my entire stay. Binder’s breakfasts are absolutely scrumptious, she’s an amazing cook! Once they found out my interests, they recommended some fantastic places for me to visit and even took me to a few. I am so grateful for their gracious help in making my stay in Amritsar memorable and wonderfully fulfilling. When back in Amritsar, I will no doubt be staying here again. 😍💖🥰

Amazing homestay experience! The hosts were incredibly hospitable, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food was very authentic and tasty. Perfect location, close to top attractions like Golden Temple. Highly recommended for a memorable trip!
