We stayed at Carmelo’s to attend a wedding at a nearby venue and enjoyed ourselves very much… our children especially enjoyed the pool. We were a group of 10 extended family and friends and only given access to 5 rooms rather than the 6 that were in the listing. This meant that 2 people had to share a room that had expected to sleep alone but it wasn’t a big deal. Note that the laundry is communal and only 1 load is free, after that, payment is expected, so we decided to skip laundering. The place has a gorgeous view and was very clean though very basic in amenities. One room (bedroom 5) had an odd odor - Carmelo and his assistant were very responsive and came to do extra cleaning but the odor never really disappeared. Very serene and private, dead quiet at night. It is a 10-20 minute drive to any shops or restaurants but we had cars and were fine with this. Would stay again if we returned to the area with such a large group.

Great little getaway from the cities and traffic. Need a car to get here. Amazing pool with stunning panoramic views. Fun games area with stereo sound system. Just what we needed. The kitchen had no air conditioning but the rest of the apartment was refreshingly cool. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location on a hill. Requires a drive to Agrigento but easy to access via car. Very spacious rooms and living rooms with good heating during cold weather. Carmelo was very kind and flexible for our check-in time was slightly earlier than expected. He was always ready to attend to any queries we had.

Gorgeous spot perched on a hill above farmland with the sea in the distance. Carmelo was very helpful and kind. The accommodations were clean, basic, and included everything we needed. We used the place as a base for exploring Agrigento and the Valle dei Templi. We would definitely return again!

Carmelo’s place is very nicely located and has a beautiful view. It is a bit isolated but that is also its charm. The welcome was friendly and when there was a problem it was immediately solved. The place is very spacious, especially around the pool. It was clean and sufficiently equipped and if it is was not there we asked and it was arranged. We had a nice stay at Carmelo.
